20 things you must know to have an easier life

1. When peeling off a band aid, dip a cotton ball in olive oil or baby oil and rub it against the sticky parts of the band aid. This will cause it to fall off painlessly.

2. Kick a soccer with the laces, or inside part of your foot. (Never with your toe.)

3. When you want more intelligent words when typing in Microsoft, go to the tools toolbar, and use the thesaurus

4. When you answer the phone and the speaker needs to talk to someone else who is not available in the moment, volunteer to leave a message.

5. When calling over a cat, a rabbit, or any rodent, use the "tsk tsk" sound.

6. When your pencil breaks and you don't have a sharpener, do not use your scissors to shave the pencil.

7. When you have been embarrassed, laugh along with the crowd.

8. When you have a secret confession, do NOT tell a bubbly or poplar girl!

9. Learn to say hello in 10 different languages:
Spanish: Hola (OH-la)
Arabic: Al salaamu a'laykun (Ahl sah-LAHMU ah ah-LAY-koom)
French: Bonjour (bohn-ZHOOR)
Hebrew: Shalom (Shah-LOHM)
Hindi: Namaste (Nah-mah-STAY)
Hungarian Szia (ZEE-yah

Donald Alvin Wale

Unfortunately, a very bad thing happened to my neighbor a few days ago. He died at the hospital. Later on, my dad found this at thestar.com, and i just wanted to post this article, in memory of Don.

WALE, Donald Alvin - (February 28, 1937 - October 18, 2008) Died peacefully after a lengthy illness with Josie, his beloved wife of 42 years, by his side. Predeceased by parents Tom and Esther Wale and brother Ken, Don is fondly remembered by brothers Harry and Bob as well as nieces and nephews. Don loved life and every day was a good one. An avid reader, he also enjoyed fishing as a long-time member of the Franklin Trout Farm. A celebration of Don's life will be held in the chapel of Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Donations in Don's memory may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre (Palliative Care Unit) in thanks for their wonderful support, or to the OSPCA, Newmarket.

About me

Hi! I'm Shuke and I'm new to this whole blog community, so I would like to share more about myself.
I have a great family, wonderful friends, and awesome teachers and coaches. I'm mainly a sporty kind of person, and i play in the basketball and volleyball club. I played house league soccer for two years, and in 2008, I tried out for the U12 1997 girls rep soccer club for Aurora, and amazingly made it! We're starting practice in mid November, so wish me luck! I also used to take swimming lessons, but at level 7, because of a chlorine allergy, I had to postpone further lessons.
Unfortunately, I have no pets, but my favorite animals are dogs (mainly) , turtles(my little red eared slider died two years ago), and well... cats, sort of. Yeah, they scratch open couches, go hunting at night, and often bite people, but I have a few cats in my neighborhood and I've grown close to them, living in Aurora for seven years since I moved from China, where I was born.
I'm really into music these days, and there's always a song in my head. Lately, I found this really great song by David Archuleta, called Crush, so just sit back and listen...
